IT Service Desk Engineer

About the Role

Our Service Desk team, based in Shenton Park, supports our users by providing responsive application and desktop support, both remotely and through site visits. Reporting to the Service Desk Lead, this role involves troubleshooting escalated support requests, improving user-facing processes, and delivering consistent, high-quality assistance.

 

About You

We are looking for a patient and approachable IT professional with a strong ability to communicate technical concepts in simple terms. Known for your problem-solving skills and attention to detail, you manage support tasks with accuracy and efficiency. Collaborative and proactive, you adapt well to changing priorities and are committed to delivering high-quality service, ensuring a positive experience for every user.

 

In this role, you will ideally have:

  • At least 3 years’ experience in a similar role.
  • Resolve escalated issues, ensuring prompt resolution and quality support.
  • Provide end user support in Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and other standard applications.
  • Handle service requests such as software installation, hardware setup, and user access management.
  • Track, manage, and resolve incidents, prioritising user satisfaction and efficiency.
  • Manage and track IT assets, maintaining accurate records of IT assets issued to users and ensuring asset tracking and status are up-to-date for optimal resource management.
  • Fulfil service requests, executing tasks such as software installations, hardware provisioning, and access management, ensuring timely and efficient response to user needs.

 

To join our team, you will be required to complete required clearances including a National Police Clearance.
