Administrator - Employment Services

About the Role

An exciting opportunity has become available for an Administrator to join the Employment Services team to provide support to the Executive Manager and the rest of the team. This role is a permanent full-time opportunity however part time will be considered.

The Employment Services program is the only Autism specialist Inclusive Employment Australia provider in Australia to assist people with Autism to find and maintain open employment in the community, with over 500 individuals currently accessing the service.

You will:

  • Provide administrative support to the Executive Manager – Employment Services
  • Provide administrative support to the Employment Services team including assisting with client records management
  • Updating client’s database including scanning and entering data onto spreadsheets
  • Rostering and scheduling for support staff within the Service
  • Collaboration and liaison with internal and external service providers to continually gather and document relevant information to support individuals within the service
  • Conducting assurance activities to ensure our compliance with our government contract
  • Responding to phone enquiries from prospective participants and their families

About You

In this role, you will ideally have:

  • Previous administration experience, ideally in a role supporting a Senior Manager
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven time management skills and demonstrated ability to prioritise and work independently
  • Confidence utilising various ICT software and systems including Microsoft Office
  • Passion for supporting individuals with Autism and their families
  • Bundles of enthusiasm, energy and confidence to adapt and be flexible
  • Courage to think outside the box and be solution focused

Desirable

  • Previous experience using MPA and Work Force Australia portals would be highly regarded
  • Previous experience working within Disability or Community services
  • Understanding of Autism Spectrum Disorder
