Team Leader - Post Placement Support Employment Services

About the Role

The Team Leader – Post Placement Support will support the Executive Manager and to provide leadership, strategic input and supervision to staff and programs within AIM Employment team, with the goal of providing appropriate supports to people with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) within the context of the Inclusive Employment Australia guidelines and goals. 

This role plays an important part in ensuring the ongoing sustainability of the Associations IEA program and achieving the Association’s mission by enabling individuals to play a greater part in their local community and increasing acceptance and understanding of individuals with ASD.

About You

We are looking for a 

In this role, you will ideally have:

  • Extensive knowledge and understanding of Autism and its impact on employment outcomes.
  • Coordination experience demonstrating highly effective people and teamwork skills and delivery of outcomes for people with disability and their families.
  • Experience, knowledge and involvement in Employment Quality Assurance audits.
  • Highly developed analytical skills with demonstrated experience in compliance, data and budget analysis.
  • Experience utilising client management and ESS system highly regarded
  • Experience in job support and job search for people with disability.
  • Demonstrated project management skills.
  • Supervisory experience and knowledge of human resources practices
  • An understanding of IEA guidelines and Deed requirements
