IT Infrastructure Engineer

About the Role

This isn’t a break-fix role. You’ll lead projects, drive automation, influence architecture decisions, and mentor junior team members with real autonomy at SFIA Level 4. You’ll also keep critical systems running, owning the infrastructure that powers our organisation.

We’re looking for an experienced IT Infrastructure Engineer to take hands-on ownership of our network, wireless, cloud, and security environment across an enterprise-grade stack — designing and deploying HPE Aruba wireless networks, maintaining our Cato SD-WAN environment, managing Palo Alto next-generation firewalls, and administering enterprise servers and storage.

As strong collaboration and workplace culture are central to achieving our goals, this is a fully office-based, in-person role located in Shenton Park next to the train station. The role also includes participation in an on-call roster and availability for after-hours work to support planned maintenance windows and critical incident escalations

About You

In this role, you will ideally have:

  • 5+ years in IT infrastructure engineering or systems administration
  • HPE Aruba wireless experience or similar enterprise wireless platforms
  • HPE ClearPass installation and administration for NAC and AAA services
  • SD-WAN exposure — Cato Networks experience highly regarded
  • Palo Alto firewall administration and policy management skills
  • Microsoft On Premise and Azure administration experience
  • Windows Server & hypervisor design, implementation, and administration (VMware vSphere and/or Hyper-V)
  • Backup & DR ownership — including documentation, testing, and meeting RTO/RPO objectives

Highly Desirable:

  • CCNA/CCNP, Palo Alto PCNSA/PCNSE, or HPE Aruba certifications
  • Cato Networks Certified Associate (CCA) — demonstrating hands-on proficiency with the Cato SASE platform
  • Microsoft Azure certifications — AZ-104 Administrator or AZ-305 Solutions Architect
  • VMware Certified Professional (VCP)
  • Experience supporting Right Fit For Risk (RFFR) Cyber Security Accreditation and or Essential 8
