About the Role
This exciting position has become available for a motivated person who is looking to work in close collaboration with Team Leaders to support the day-to-day operations of the centre. Centre coordinators play an important role in greeting and welcoming families to centre, ensure every child and family has a wonderful experience when accessing therapy at the Hub. The successful applicant will support a team of Senior Therapy Assistants and therapy assistants to deliver a high standard of service delivery. They will be responsible for varied operational and administrative duties including termly client therapy timetabling, coordinating new client needs into ongoing timetables, staff payroll and communications. Centre Coordinators provide direct therapy work with the children accessing the centre, train new staff and ‘train the trainers’ to deliver foundations and group leader training.
About You
We are looking for a passionate Centre Coordinator based at our Fremantle centre for 4 days a week. You will have strengths in leadership, and a passion to be part of actively building a positive team culture.
In this role, you will ideally have:
Knowledge and understanding of autism, the characteristics, the impact and strategies to facilitate learning.
Highly developed interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
High level of administration and organisational skills, including strong time management skills and ability to prioritise tasks in a dynamic role.
Ability to work independently and in a trans-disciplinary team.
Ability to work closely with other departments within AAWA to coordinate the care and maintenance of the hubs.
Demonstrated ability to mentor and coach staff.
Strong computer skills across the Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, Outlook and an understanding of databases, or a willingness to learn.
A passion to make a difference and highly developed customer service skills to support our children and families to have a wonderful experience when visiting the centres.
