HR Administrator

About the Role

Join our people‑focused People & Culture team as an HR Administrator and help make a meaningful impact. This role is perfect for an early‑career professional who is organised, curious, and ready to build strong foundations in HR, or someone with good administrative skills who is looking to transition into HR. You’ll support our team with recruitment, compliance, database management, and general HR queries in a collaborative, knowledge‑sharing environment.

This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands‑on HR experience while developing your organisational, communication, and problem‑solving skills.

This role is also responsible for:

  • Providing administrative support to the HR team
  • Monitoring employee compliance documentation and following up as required
  • Creating and maintaining accurate employee records in the HRIS
  • Creating letters and employee documents
  • Providing general advice and support to internal departments and employees
  • Assisting with employee life-cycle activities
  • Supporting process improvement tasks and projects

About You

To succeed in this role, you will be customer focused with strong administration skills and the ability to communicate confidently with candidates, employees and managers, both in writing and verbally.

Our ideal candidate will also:

  • Have good organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Be able to manage their own workload, work efficiently and meet deadlines
  • Be proactive, resourceful and able to use initiative to solve problems
  • Be familiar with recruitment and administration processes
  • Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Bring a positive, team‑oriented approach to their work

Experience using an HR Information System and working in a compliance focused environment is highly desirable but we are happy to support the right candidate to develop in these areas.

To join our team you will be required to complete required clearances including a National Police Clearance.
