Security Lead

About the Role

Our Security team, based in Shenton Park, protects the organisation through proactive cyber security oversight, including threat detection, incident response, and continuous improvement of our security posture. Reporting to the Chief Information and Technology Officer, this role leads security operations, oversees escalated incidents and risks, enhances governance and user-facing security practices, and ensures the delivery of consistent, high-quality security services.

About You

We are looking for a trusted and authoritative security leader with the ability to translate complex cyber risks into clear, actionable insights for both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Known for your analytical thinking and attention to detail, you lead security initiatives with precision and accountability. Collaborative and proactive, you build strong relationships across the organisation, respond effectively to emerging threats, and remain adaptable in a dynamic risk environment, ensuring robust, consistent, and high-quality security outcomes.

  • In this role, you will ideally have:
  • At least 5 years’ experience in cyber security, with leadership exposure.
  • Lead security incidents through identification, containment, and recovery.
  • Manage security controls across Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and enterprise systems.
  • Oversee identity and access management aligned to least privilege and zero trust.
  • Monitor threats and vulnerabilities, prioritising risk-based remediation.
  • Maintain visibility of security tools, assets, and compliance requirements.
  • Drive continuous improvement of security processes and awareness.

To join our team you will be required to complete required clearances including a National Police Clearance.
