About the Role
Join our dedicated team at the Autism Association as a full-time Quality & Safeguarding Advisor.
In this important role, you will support quality and safeguarding across the organisation by investigating NDIS reportable incidents, managing the reporting of restrictive practices, and supporting our Restrictive Practice Quality Assurance Panels.
You will also contribute to client feedback processes, service development and continuous improvement initiatives to help ensure compliance, strengthen practice and promote positive outcomes for the people we support.
About You
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented professional with a client-centered approach to join our Quality & Safeguarding team.
In this role, you will ideally have:
• Proven ability and experience to conduct thorough and detailed investigations, applying best practices to uncover and address issues effectively.
• A strong understanding of the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Framework, NDIS Practice Standards and Positive Behaviour Support Framework, including reportable incidents and restrictive practices.
• Strong report-writing abilities and excellent verbal and written communication skills to convey findings and recommendations clearly.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, with the confidence to work collaboratively with staff, leaders, families, practitioners and external stakeholders.
• Strong operational and organisational skills to manage multiple competing priorities and
• The ability to analyse information and data to identify trends, risks and opportunities for improvement.
• Knowledge of strategies and methods for continuous improvement in service delivery and compliance
• A tertiary qualification in social science, health science, law, management or a related discipline is preferred; however, relevant experience will also be highly regarded.
