About the Role

We are seeking a full-time Coordinator in a fixed-term position to join our skilled and dedicated Individual Options Team. This position is a great opportunity for people who have been working with individuals with disabilities and their families and who are looking for a career pathway to build on their skills. 

This role is for a motivated and dedicated individual to lead a team of Support Workers, ensuring the support we provide is tailored to each person’s needs while successfully managing competing priorities. Duties include working closely with individuals with Autism and their families, staff mentoring and supervision, and developing job readiness skills and opportunities for participants. 

About You

We are looking for a Coordinator who is kind and caring and committed to enhancing the life of every individual with Autism. In addition, you will have a passion for supporting individuals to live their best life and to be actively involved in their community. In this role, you will ideally have:

  • Experience in the Disability Sector  
  • A tertiary qualification in a Human Services Discipline minimum Certificate IV. This is desirable but not essential.
  • Demonstrated experience in staff supervision and development 
  • Knowledge of person-centered approaches to service provision
