About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and caring Occupational Therapist to join our dedicated Therapy & Clinical Services Team on a full-time or part-time basis. Our hubs are located in Joondalup, Shenton Park, Midland or Fremantle, and supports are provided across home, education, work and community environments. The successful applicant will provide high quality services to children with Autism and their families.

In this role, you will:

  • Deliver a broad range of therapy services to a diverse caseload including standardised and non-standardised assessments for children with a range of skill areas such as fine motor skills, gross motor skills, sensory processing, and activities of daily living
  • Have the opportunity to complete Functional Capacity Assessments
  • Work as an Occupational Therapist within a key worker model, providing both direct and consultative supports to children with autism and their families
  • Provide consultation and education to families and key stakeholders to support inclusion and participation across a range of settings
  • Receive support to implement evidence based Positive Behaviour Support strategies to enhance the child’s life experiences and wellbeing
  • Lead specialised group therapy programs for children

You will be based at our Joondalup hub and travel within a local geographical area to people’s homes, schools, and community settings to provide family centred services.


About You

The successful applicant will enjoy working with children and their families to ensure they have the best start in life.  If you are an energetic, child focused, values driven Occupational Therapist we would love to hear from you! Additional requirements for the role include:

  • Registration with AHPR
  • A tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy
  • Experience in working with children with disability and their families is desirable
