Team Leader – Joondalup

About the Role
We have two opportunities for experienced Speech Pathologists who have a passion for leading a team, to join our School Age and Early Intervention teams.

Based at our Joondalup hubs, these roles oversee clinical service delivery and operations for these sites and work alongside management and Team Leaders from other centres, to ensure streamlined and consistent processes. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Coordination and Management of quality therapy service delivery across your team
  • Delivering a high level of Customer Service and developing relationships with families & clients
  • Supervision of a multidisciplinary team including Speech Pathologists, Occupational Therapists, Teachers, Senior Clinicians, and operational staff
  • Managing caseload allocations, discipline referrals and upskilling staff based on referrals
  • Maintaining a small caseload
  • Coaching and training Therapists to deliver individual and group therapy
  • Centre operations including WSH and implementation of organisational policies
  • Development of local Strategic Partnerships
  • Quality management of therapy Programs

Our School Age Intervention team is looking for a permanent, part-time Team Leader to work three days per week as part of a job-share arrangement.

Our Early Intervention team are looking for a full-time Team Leader to cover maternity leave for eight months, with the possibility of extension.

About You
We are looking for previous experience in a leadership role in a relevant Therapy Service. In this role, you will also have:

  • Degree in your relevant field
  • Registration with APRHA, membership with Speech Pathology Australia or relevant governing body
  • Demonstrated leadership skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
