About the Role We are looking to grow our team with dedicated and caring therapists who are passionate about making a difference for Autistic individuals and their families.
In this role, you will:
Work closely with your colleagues in a large multi-disciplinary team, providing high quality therapy services to individuals with Autism and their families
Provide consultation and education to families and key stakeholders to create inclusion and participation at home, school and in the community.
Have opportunities to implement specialist programs, supporting social communication, mealtimes, Positive Behaviour Support Programs and more, including our range of group therapy curriculums, parent coaching workshops, and other evidence based programs.
Be based from one of our therapy hubs and travel within your local geographical area to people’s homes, schools, and community settings to provide quality family centred services
Lead specialist therapy groups across a range of ages and skill areas
Depending on your area of expertise, complete specialist assessments for Augmentative and Alternate Communication or Functional Capacity
About You The successful applicant will have excellent communication skills and a passion to dream big for people with Autism to live their best lives.
Additional requirements for the role include:
A relevant tertiary qualification in Speech Pathology or Occupational Therapy
Membership or registration with your appropriate professional body
Experience working with children and/or adults with disability and their families is desirable
To join our team you will be required to complete required clearances including a Medical, National Police Clearance / NDIS Workers Check.
