About the Role
We are looking for a passionate, energetic and caring Speech Pathologist with a demonstrated commitment to providing excellent services to individuals with Autism and their families on a full-time or part-time basis.
In this role, you will:
- Deliver a broad range of therapy services to a diverse caseload including standardised and non-standardised assessments for clients with a range of speech and language difficulties
- Complete specialist communication assessment for Augmentative and Alternate Communication
- Provide therapeutic support and information to families and key stakeholders supporting people with autism to create inclusion and participation across a range of settings
- You will work as a speech pathologist within a key worker model, providing both direct and consultative supports to clients with autism
- Be trained and supported to implement Positive Behaviour Support strategies with a focus on improving quality of life
- Have opportunities to implement specialist programs and curriculum development within, Hanen Program® parent coaching and training, social communication, specialist mealtime assessment and management, Positive Behaviour Support programs and more
- Be based at one of our therapy hubs and work within a local area in people’s homes, schools, and community settings to provide family centred services
- Lead specialist therapy groups across a range of ages and skill area.
About You

Additional requirements for the role include:
- A tertiary qualification in Speech Pathology
- Membership with Speech Pathology Australia
- Person centred approach
- Experience working with children and/or adults with disability and their families is desirable
