About the Role

Reporting to the Director of Community Living, this position leads a team of Coordinators who facilitate great lives for people with Autism.  The Shared Living team provides full time (24/7) support for individuals living in small two-to-three person homes.  The Manager is responsible for leading a high performing team that is dedicated to fostering each person’s independence, fulfilment and enjoyment of life.  The successful candidate is one that is deeply committed to ensuring a high quality of care, high staff performance and zero tolerance of anything that would negatively impact the quality of life of the people we support.  

 

About You

You will be deeply committed to the rights of people with a disability, leading by example and direction.  You will have sound management skills including budget, time, and resource management.  You have good written skills are committed to working collaboratively and transparently with individuals and families as part of the team. 

 

Your Skills and Experience Will Include

  • Demonstrated management experience in the disability or social service sector;
  • Evidence of leadership in managing staff, coaching and developing teams;
  • Excellent communication skills both written and oral;
  • Well-developed time management skills;
  • Experience and understanding of the NDIS Quality Framework; and
  • Evidence of working collaboratively with families.


Qualifications

Tertiary level qualifications or demonstrated experience equivalent.
