About the Role

Our Community Living team supports people with Autism to live in a home of their own. Underpinned by person and family centred approaches, support is tailored to individual needs.

Reporting to the Manager Community Living the Operations Coordinator is vital to the success of our service, managing a team of schedulers and relevant administrative staff to ensure the effective scheduling of staff. This includes working closely with managers to identify requirements, proactively problem solving and ensuring services are delivered in accordance with policies and guidelines. 

About You

To succeed in this position you’ll be an experienced leader with strong communication skills who is effective in communicating with clients from a variety of backgrounds. You’ll have a proactive approach, excellent attention to detail and be confident in identifying opportunities for improvement.  Your skills and experience will include:

  • Leadership experience and the ability to work collaboratively across diverse team. 
  • Exceptional stakeholder engagement and influencing skills.
  • Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to achieve deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Excel, client relationship management software, database systems.
  • An understanding of the Disability Sector and the philosophy of person-centred approaches.
  • Experience in coordination of teams.

Formal qualifications in Business or Administration, and/or equivalent experience in a similar role in a community services organisation are highly desirable.
